Financial market law expert Miriam Broucek joined PFR as attorney

PFR strengthens its financial market law expertise. With attorney Miriam Broucek, an experienced expert joins our team. She specialises in securities and banking supervisory law as well as digital finance.

A native Tyrolian with many years of experience, she advises national and international clients in all areas of financial market law, in particular securities and banking supervisory law, fund law, aspects of money laundering prevention and compliance. In addition, she has in-depth know-how on digitalisation in finance and deals intensively with innovative business models and technologies, in particular crypto securities and blockchain issues.

Miriam Broucek (39) was admitted to the bar in April 2019 and worked as a trainee lawyer and attorney at a renowned international law firm in Vienna before joining us.

She started her legal career at the Financial Market Authority, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of financial market law and the Austrian financial market. After passing the bar exam in 2018, she spent several months in the legal department of an international investment bank in Frankfurt. She regularly lectures and publishes on her areas of expertise.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome Miriam as a lawyer with us. With her outstanding expertise in financial market law, we will be able to advise our clients from the finance and IT sector even more comprehensively in all areas of financial market law in the future," PFR partner Bernd Fletzberger is happy about the new addition.
